Prenatal Yoga
Prenatal yoga has numerous benefits both for the expectant mother as well as the developing baby. Prenatal yoga also helps expectant mothers prepare for birth—physically and emotionally. Yoga increases strength and flexibility, reduces low back pain and sciatica, and helps reduce swelling and inflammation. Research has shown that practicing yoga during pregnancy may result in improved birth weight, while decreasing the incidence of preterm labor and pregnancy-induced hypertension. Join other expectant mothers in a class geared for you. Postures, breathwork, birth preparation, relaxation and meditation are incorporated into each class, helping to enhance comfort and cultivating flexibility and confidence.
